Trav collected his third top ten finish in 2024 with a T5 finish in Morocco.

Trav played 5 tournaments in the first quater of 2024. One Australasian Tour event, the Vic Open, and 4 Asian tour events including the co-sanctioned NZ Open.

He took his continued good form to Kuala Lumpur this week for the Asian Tour’s first event of the 2024 season, the US$1m Malaysian Open.

Trav finished 2023 in style claiming outright 3rd at the Saudi Open

This week he plays the Indonesian Masters at Royale Jakarta then heads home for the Australian Open before finishing in the Middle East with the Asian Tour year end finals and a LIV Promotions qualifier.

Trav enters the final quarter of 2023 with two successive top three finishes in Taiwan. He finished 2nd at the Yeangder TPC, an event he won last year, then followed up tied 3rd at the Mercuries Taiwan Masters.

Carding rounds of 71, 68, 71 and 71 Trav finished 3 under par and T12 at the Newcastle tournament.

 The Asian Tour is building a UK swing, as part of this initiative, the tour returned to the UK this week for the 5th International Series event of the season at Close House near Newcastle in the North East of England.

The 151st Open will be the first of, what we all hope, will be many Major golf tournaments for Travis Smyth. He gained entry via his 3rd place finish at the World City Golf Championship in Hong Kong. The tournament kicks off on Thursday 20th July.

Travis produced rounds of 69,66 and 66 to finish outright 3rd at the World City Championship in Hong Kong.

Carding two 5 under par rounds at the week end Trav was able to climb the leaderboard to finish tied 6th alongside countryman Mark Leishman in the season opening Saudi International

The 2023 Asian Tour starts this week with the biggest purse of the season, US$5m, up for grabs at the PIF Saudi International. Following the Saudi event the Tour moves to Oman and Qatar for two International Series events before heading down under for the New Zealand Open

Trav secured his maiden professional tour victory at the Yeangder TPC in Taiwan. He carded rounds of 68 69 66 and 66 to finish at 19 under two shots ahead of local Lee Chief-Po. He entered the final round leading by 1 shot which he extended to 4 shots through 14 holes including 7 birdies.

After gaining starts in the first three LIV Golf Tournaments Trav is back to his regular job on the Asian Tour.

Despite a final day +6 Trav was able to inch up the leaderboard in the final round at the Centurion and finish tied 33 alongside some notable top 50 golfers.

A first round +5 was bested on day two with a 1 under to leave Trav tied for 26 and in good form to hopefully climb the leader board on the final day of the 54 hole event.

Playing in the first Asian Tour event held in the UK Trav carded a 5 under par 66 in the third round to lead the tournament at 8 under par.

COVID finally caught up with Trav at the first of the new International Series in Thailand. Feeling like he had a stomach bug he started the tournament but withdrew during the second round and subsequently tested positive.

In the final event of the year Travis finished T16 at the Singapore Open. Importantly he completed the multi year season in 21st position on the Order of Merit sufficient to gain a start in the Saudi International.
